Here’s a guy you want to have a drink with. A friendly personality, powerful voice, and confident attitude are some of the things that draw viewers to Steve Kuzj.
He's currently working on-air in New York for NewsChannel 13 WNYT, after spending nearly a decade in Los Angeles on KTLA 5 News. Steve has been in major television markets across the country, including Atlanta, Phoenix, and NYC. He's even picked up a few Emmys and other awards along the way. With several years of improv comedy under his belt, Steve has no problem being relaxed and entertaining, whether in front of the camera or on stage.
Steve grew up a country boy in the thick forests of Minnesota, where hunting, camping, and adventuring were the weekend norm. In the Boy Scouts, Steve achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout (a position that comes with a signed letter from the President of the United States.)
Since the age of 5, Steve has been involved in the martial arts. As a 2nd-degree black-belt, brick breaking, weapons, and national fighting tournaments are par for the course.
With significant experience in hosting events, leading discussions, physical fitness, electronics, firearms, wilderness survival, home repairs, video games, commercial voice-over, and parenting, Steve can step into a variety of jobs.
Steve has been married to his wife Christine since 2015. They have one VERY active young son, born in 2018, and a daughter Steve can’t say ‘no’ to, born in 2020.
Oh, and that last name? It’s Ukrainian, and pronounced like the “Luge,” but with a “Ka” sound at the beginning. His father immigrated to the U.S. as a child. There is quite a family story. Ask him about it sometime.
